1. How is the Computer Based Testing (CBT) administered?
The Computer Based VTNE will be given in windows, at Prometric Testing Centers across the U.S. and Canada.
2. What are the testing windows in 2012?
AAVSB is accepting applicaitons for the March 15 - April 15 exam window with the candidate application deadline on February 15 and July 15 - August 15 exam window with the candidate application deadline on June 15. The application window will be open and all information will be on the AAVSB website.
3. How will candidates apply?
There are two parts to the application process, payment for the exam, and eligibility. Candidates will apply for and pay for the VTNE at the AAVSB website www.aavsb.org, during the application windows.
NOTE: Sponsorship by the New Mexico Board of Veterinary Medicine is required. See RVT under Licensing Procedures tab for sponsorship form. Completed application, fee and related paperwork must be received by Board office on or before February 3 for the March 15 - April window; May 31 for the July 15 - August 15 window.
